About Who I Am:

With me..what you see is what you get. My name is Carmelo..better known as "Quique". I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Sunset Park. I am the epitome of the cliche "living in the ghetto, but not having the ghetto live in you". I have dedicated myself to an education in life and self improvement. I am by nationality Puerto Rican. They call us Puerto Ricans from NY Nuyoricans...and our official language is Spanglish...lol. But more than that I like to stand tall for my faith and beliefs. I'm a christian, having professed Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and I willingly live my life in obedience to His Word. Trying to live following the example of Christ. I aspire to be a man of God, afer God's own heart.

What I'm About

I was born and raised in the Gospel. I still follow that path today. The bible says in the book of 2 Timothy that we need to persistently follow what we have always believed in. I believe in good and evil. Right and Wrong. I believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I KNOW that Jesus was born of a virgin, lived on this earth and died, shedding His precious Blood for me and resurrected 3 dayz later and sits in Heaven at the right hand of the Father. I accepted Christ when I was 7 years old. He performed various miracles in my life. He even restored my dying spirit. At the age of 7, I was diagnosed with an illness that made me very sick. I lost my vision and my hearing. Doctor's told my parents to prepare arrangements for me because they thought I would soon be gone. But Jesus had other arrangements. Not giving up, my church stood in prayer. One day A group of members from my church came to my house and prayed over me, I was instantly healed. My vision was back and I was not deaf anymore. I gave my life to Christ that day because He gave me mine back. I believe Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father and the One and only true way to salvation and eternal life in Heaven. However, Being the intelligent and 100% real person that I am, I respect everyone's beliefs, and I demand nothing less than the same for me. I am a singer, musician, a preacher in the sense that I live my life as a living testimony to God's Word and awesome power. Personally I am the ultimate practitioner, instigator and provocator of deep thought. I am far from perfect, but I am focused on being the person I need to be. Therefore, around me, you make sure and STEP CORRECTLY.

I am attracted to positive people, those with vision for constant change and improvment. I enjoy changing other's lives simply by leading the life I live.
